Toby Power started from a simple belief: sustainable transport should be real, not just a label. Before the company moved into electric vehicles, Anders spent years in the heavy vehicle industry, sourcing and refurbishing used biogas-powered trucks and supplying them across Europe. Sustainability was the thread from the start, just in a different form.

When the war in Ukraine disrupted that business overnight, he did not stop. He redirected.

The question became: where can we actually make a difference? Heavy electric vehicles still have a long way to go. They are expensive, they are heavy, and the infrastructure is not there yet. But lighter vehicles are a different story. A light electric vehicle costs a fraction of the price, any mechanic can service it, and the running costs are genuinely low. That is sustainable transport that actually works today, not in ten years.

That conviction became Toby Power as it is today. In 2025 Jenny joined and the company partnered with Clean Motion, the Swedish manufacturer behind the Evig and Zbee. Toby Power is now the only authorised reseller of Clean Motion vehicles in Finland.
