FAQs – Toby Power

The vehicles

The Zbee is registered as an EU light quadricycle and can be driven with an AM category moped license. The Evig requires an A1 category license, which is a light motorcycle license. Both are straightforward to obtain and do not require a full car driving license.
The Zbee has a top speed of 45 km/h and the Evig reaches 60 km/h. Both are designed for urban environments where these speeds are well suited to daily use.
Yes. Both vehicles are built to handle Nordic winters. We recommend winter tires and regular maintenance to keep them running smoothly in cold conditions.
The Zbee offers a range of 50 to 60 km per charge from a standard household outlet. The Evig has a range of 100 to 200 km depending on driving conditions and solar panel contribution. On sunny days, the solar panels can extend the range significantly beyond what the battery alone provides.

Safety

Yes, and this is one area where the Zbee stands out clearly from comparable vehicles. The body is built from fibre reinforced plastic, a structural composite material engineered to absorb and distribute impact rather than shatter. Clean Motion has conducted real crash tests on the Zbee and demonstrated strong results. All three seats are fitted with three-point safety belts, the same standard used in cars. Most alternatives in this vehicle category are made from thin, fragile plastic that offers very little protection in an impact. The Zbee is a different proposition entirely.

Doors and customisation

The Evig comes with doors as standard. The Zbee is currently sold without doors, but we are actively working on developing a door solution together with a partner specialising in plastic products and aim to offer this as an option in the future.

In the meantime, the open design keeps the vehicle light and manoeuvrable, which suits urban use well.
Yes, and this is one of its strongest features. The Evig is built on a modular aluminium frame with flat body panels and a clear mounting grid, which makes it genuinely flexible to configure. The cargo zone can be fitted with shelves, dividers, containers and equipment mounts to match your specific workflow. The body openings, insulation and interior layout can all be adapted without redesigning the vehicle from the ground up. The standard models on our site cover the most common use cases, but they are a starting point rather than a fixed menu. If your needs do not fit neatly into one of them, get in touch and we will work out what makes sense.

Heating and charging

Yes. The Evig can be equipped with heating in two ways. If you opt for the double battery configuration, electric heating is included. It is also possible to fit a diesel heater, though we do not recommend this given the environmental impact. For most customers the double battery with electric heating is the right choice.
Charging is done through a standard household outlet. Finland has some of the lowest electricity prices in Europe, averaging around €0.18 per kWh for households. A full charge for the Zbee costs roughly €1 to €1.50, and the Evig costs a few euros depending on battery size. The Evig also features integrated solar panels, which can cover a significant portion of your energy needs and in good conditions allow you to drive largely for free. Either way, running costs are a fraction of what you would pay with a petrol vehicle.

Servicing

The Evig and Zbee run on low-voltage electrical systems, well below the threshold that requires specialist certification for mechanics. This means they can be serviced at any standard workshop, without the need for high-voltage EV training or special equipment. Routine maintenance is straightforward and familiar to any competent mechanic.

Financing

With instalment financing through Svea Rahoitus, you own the vehicle from day one and pay it off in monthly instalments over an agreed period. With leasing, you pay a fixed monthly amount to use the vehicle, and Svea handles the residual value at the end of the contract. Leasing keeps the vehicle off your balance sheet and requires no large upfront investment. Both options are available on all our vehicles.
Not necessarily. Svea Rahoitus often approves financing without a down payment, though this depends on the individual credit assessment. If you want to lower your monthly payments, you can choose to put money down.
Credit decisions are made by Svea Rahoitus individually. In most cases the process is straightforward. Get in touch with us and we will help you get started.
